No one here has expressed any hatred towards Obama, as the hatred the liberals spread against Bush, Palin, and now Romney.

The left only want criticism as one sided, only against those on the right and cannot understand why anyone would disagree with anyone on the left and if they do then they are unchristian, racists, and closed minded bigots.

This thread is being used for all the reasons we do not support Obama and his liberal progressive movement, which entails a lot more than just disdain for this current president who crept in unawares and unvetted.

He definitely got more than he bargained for I'm sure.

Our politics forum is no place for the faint of heart, the unprepared and the uniformed to try and make a stand against conservative Biblical principles, logic and truth.

It gets messy sometimes when one has to be confronted with their error(s) head on.

Between all the various contributors we tried holding the OP's hand, we loved him, we hugged him, we agreed to join him in prayer for a friend, we cajoled and we scolded him, we set logic traps and metaphorical snares, we used satire, we used logic and facts in the form of raw data, we rebuked his intransigence and he still continued to proclaim he thought his "logic" more sound than ours and he saw no conflict within himself, between his political ideals and those of Biblical Christianity.

Why then, if he was so sure of his position did he retire from the conversation?

We watched as he progressively got more and more frustrated that no matter how he tried to spin his POV it did not and could not pass the smell test. It does not mean we're haters, nor are we intolerant as more than twenty pages and 460+ posts attest to our willingness to stand and shine a light into the darkness.

Some people just don't, or won't, get it when we try to tell them they're wearing sunglasses at night and that's why they can't see a thing.

Also frustrating for him was us not falling for the liberal tactic of crying "foul" and "that's a personal attack" by way of reply when his ideas and thoughts were logically challenged and he had no better answer. Here we should probably cut him some slack. He was probably government (liberally) educated and as a government employee he is immersed daily in "liberal government is good" propaganda.

Obviously equally frustrating for the OP was the combined weight of the undeniably and factually supported evidence against his views that ultimately proved to be too many pots on the stove and too much heat in the kitchen.

A humble spirit is a teachable spirit is it not?

Perhaps our OP will rejoin this thread. Maybe not. Either way we do hope it has been informative and continues to be so in the days leading up to November because an informed electorate keeps politicians about the people's business and acting in the people's best interests, and bad politicians tremble when they know they have stirred the electorate in large enough numbers determinative to their ouster.

Come soon Lord Jesus - Take us Safely Home

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt from $5 trillion for the first 42 presidents – #43 added $4 trillion by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child. That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic.
--Candidate Obama on July 3, 2008, at a campaign event in Fargo, N.D.

The debt is now closing in on $16 trillion. The amount owed by 'every man, woman and child' now exceeds $50,000.

Not sure if I should chime in since I don't personally know th man but I think this speaks volumes. Our tax dollars are his financial livelihood. Many who work for the government develop a need for security and lose faith God will provide for them. They also sacrifice there free will for that security and believe others should have that security. He sad himself that there is a lot of waste in the agency he works in. I'm surprised he didn't say he felt guilty about being part of that wastful machine. Not that all government jobs are bad, there is just too many of them and like he admitted from his own experience, too much waste. I used to work for the IRS. I felt very guilty and even unpatriotic because I was nothing but a useless paper pusher who was working for an agency that was taking peoples hard earned money. It was one of the reasons I got out. At least in working for the state the money stays local so it is easier for the goverment to know what our needs are. Unfortunatly it is a liberal college campus and I feel almost unclean about being feed by a employer that promotes ungodliness. Our unions also try to brainwash us into believing the goverment owes us something. The goverment dosn't owe us anything but our freedom.

Now, now. You're implying something there...

That $16 trillion is Bush's fault too, you know.

I agree with Shonsu and also what person who is a Christian promotes any abortion policy??? Do you think a Christian would stand for same sex marriage when we fully know it is an "abomination" in God's eyes. God says you will know them by their fruit, what kind do you think he has?

Hootmon, I didn't realize at first this was an Obama quote; I thought you were blaming Bush. I need to read more closely.

Here's something for us all to keep in mind when people complain about "Bush's debt".

At the end of Bush's first six years, halfway into his second term, unemployment was at 4.7% and deficit was at about $250 billion. It was only after the Democrats took over Congress for Bush's last 2 years, that our deficit skyrocketed (although "skyrocket" seems like a grasshopper leap compared to Obama's deficits!). Remember, Congress writes the budget, they argue over the budget, and they pass the budget. The President can sign it or veto it, which carries a big political cost. Democrats in Congress - over Bush's efforts to stop them - forced banks to make bad loans Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, increased regulations, increased spending.

Liberals do something similar with Reagan. They blame his tax cuts for the deficits, but that's because Tip O'Neill, Dem. Speaker of the House, promised to cut spending but didn't. Even with the Democrats' spending, Reagan's tax cuts freed up the market and GDP grew by leaps and bounds (and tax revenues increased too).

I don't like Obama cuz his policies are all standard liberal foolishness, and his wife smells of elderberries.

Exactly. Like I've been saying all along: Democracy is a fine thing until you get unGodly, morally bankrupt people voting in the same type of people as they are.

Default Read The #1 New York Times Bestselling Author Michael Savage and read his book....

"TRICKLE DOWN TYRANNY" Crushing Obama's Dream Of The Socialist States Of America.

This book talks all about Obama and his cronies and what their Idealogies are and what their plans are and where they went to college and various other important issues that one should be informed of.
Let me tell you he does not have this countries best interests in mind.
And you really need to remember homosexuality is an abomination and God has destroyed Nations, Cities, and People for allowing this abomination to propagate amongst their inhabitants.
We are already around 50 million babies sacrificed to the god of inconvenience, and now marriage of gays. Judgment from God my friend is lurking right around the corner and anyone who believes otherwise has their head in the sand.

Honestly, I cannot stand him and I am repulsed every time he appears on the news. He stands for everything I loathe.

I cannot see why so many people are not yet sick of seeing him on the TV screen with all his arrogance and petulence and lying to our faces all the time.

Baffling how people can develop such severe blindness.
