You mean people were freaking out just because you had a sign? good grief I so want all this sillyness & nonsense to be over!

Yeah, Patti. I thought it was sad. And that was a couple of years ago.

I've never even seen a Chick-Fil-A. I hope I get the opportunity to have a meal at one someday.

Preach Chick-fil-A's President Takes Stand on Gay Marriage

Good for you Chick-fil-A!!!! Now I'm hungry

The fact that Chick-fil-A is a company that espouses Christian values is no secret. The fact that its 1,600 fast-food chicken restaurants across the country are closed on Sundays has long been testament to that.

But the comments of company President Dan Cathy about gay marriage to Baptist Press on Monday have ignited a social media wildfire.

"Guilty as charged," Cathy said when asked about his company's support of the traditional family unit as opposed to gay marriage.

"We are very much supportive of the family - the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that," Cathy is quoted as saying.

    Default Good for them.

I love chick fil sandwiches myself but i am very glad that they are a christian company. Its rare to see a company take a stand for what is right. May God continue to bless the company and the owners.

Bibles are apparently the only thing you can give away for free that people will be upset by. If you were giving away condoms, I bet you'd be the toast of the town....

Fox News is reporting that the Mayor of Boston is saying there will never be a Chick-fil-A in thier city.

Look for other cities to start the protest and marching them out of town.

LOL! Did you read Menino's ridiculous statement on it?

“Chick-fil-A doesn’t belong in Boston. You can’t have a business in the city of Boston that discriminates against a population. We’re an open city, we’re a city that’s at the forefront of inclusion,” Menino told the Herald yesterday.
So basically--what he's saying is that since Boston is such an open city that embraces inclusion the city will discriminate against a company since they don't tow the line.....right?

Liberals don't think double standards apply to them - just everyone else.

You know, I think it might behoove us, as Christian brothers and sisters, to support this man and his business. I think Chic-Filet is going to take a BIG hit because of his taking a stand on this. Maybe, if you have one near you, and you eat fastfood out at times anyway, you could have a meal there once every week or two. If enough of us do this, it could offset some of the losses they take from the other side. Just a thought............

The double standards are great, aren't they? Luckily for Chick-Fil-A they're still a business and can legally operate in the city of Boston.

Chick-Fil-A has been around for decades! they started in the south and everyone that has known of them, knows of their values. It is nothing new to their country. even the Boston Mayor knew it, he is just working on votes. They are not surprised or shocked, this is all for media hype. It was never a secret the stance of the owner and workers of Chick-Fil-A.

Chick-Fil-A won't lose business over this at all. The media may lie and say it has, but this is all about votes. And that is it. The Hollywood stooges are all just posturing to "help" their buddies. Like I said, this is not even new or news.

I would eat at Chick-fil-A but I think the prices are a bit high on food.

    Yay! Yes, Eat Mor Chikin!

We just ate at Chick-fil-A yesterday, (they make a great chicken salad on whole wheat bread, and their chocolate chip cookies are awesome)!
Anyway just wanted to say that we will continue to eat there as much as we can! We have several stores in our city. :-)
I applaud Mr Cathy's stance and will continue to support their business!

Mr. Cathy (the elder) was on Huckabee tonight. Governor Huckabee had him on his show to give him support after the backlash that the company has been getting for their stance on traditional family values.

Governor Huckabee was suggesting Aug. 1 to go eat at one of their establishments for those wanting to give the company support. Huckabee said that he has put this on his website, but I didn't check out the website.

I would love to go and show support but there are no Chick-fil-A's anywhere near me. I don't think there's one in my whole state.

I do hope they get a flood of business on Aug.1, and every day.

That's because it is real food. Nothing pre-packaged there!
