As was stated, the scriptures don't specifically state we are alone regarding intelligent life, but they sure do imply it by the elevation of Christ and His mission.

I assume that was at least partly aimed at my post.

Id just like to clarify that NASA does not expect to find intelligent life on Mars despite how much people like to joke about it. They hope they might find signs that microbes either do or once did exist there. Scripture does not rule out that posibility.

Yes, I'm way too familiar with their goals and expectations. But it does fascinate me how many atheists get so faithful when it comes to this subject. I just can't ignore their blindness to these things, or likely their willful blindness and selective 'faith', they make me laugh.

I am very excited about this project. I am very curious as to if there might have been microb life on Mars sometime in it's recent past.

I for one am for space travel and searching the stars for whatever. But only after the needs of our country has been met.

So where exactly is it written in the Word we on earth are the only living creatures in the universe ??--I cannot think of any although it,s implied strongly.Would a life found on another world destroy Christianity as we know it ??--No--because if it is there our God put it there and for a reason.

You raise an interesting point there, or a can of worms.

Who is gonna be responsible for road laws and traffic management on Mars? Wonder what the speed limit is? And should drivers of Curiosity be subject to alcohol tests? Drink driving even on Mars may be hazardous to our Martian microbes.

Even if there were alien life forms out there I couldn't see them being anymore than animals - maybe on par with apes or dolphins. Mankind is the only one made in the image of God.

He was always my favorite Martian. Few people know that 2 year-old baby Barry Soetoro was with him on the space ship when it crashed in 1963 inside Area 90210. Uncle Martin went on to get a TV gig later that year in LA while baby Barry went on to do whatever it was he did until the community disorganizing opportunity presented itself 2 decades later, unleashing him upon the United States.
