I have found it comforting to stay in constant prayer when I am going through difficult and frightning times.Believe me I have had my share.I just try to stay in pray and be still and let God work it out. When I have tried to do it myself I get into a worst mess.

However, we all must be praying not only for all the souls to be saved but for his return asap.

We who are watching know the signs and recent events point to Christ's soon coming, but remember verses like Luke 12:40, which say He'll return at an hour we think not. What's happening now will probably be yet another sign, but it will most likely have blown over when the Rapture finally happens.

Just wanted to say... Every night now when I go to bed, I find myself wondering if I will wake up to my alarm clock or to a shofar.

One more outreach, Lord... maybe two.

    THEN I'm ready.

He will probably take me in the midst of an outreach. Wouldn't that freak the recipients?

    Default what a crazy world

You know, I think I am more fearful that this is all just another cycle of the world and that we're not going to get a ride out of the craziness.
I used to wake up and say, "good morning Lord, thanks for another day."....for the past few months, i wake up and say, "good morning, Lord. really? another day?"

I long to be with Him and away from all the evilness that now, I have stopped watching cable tv, instead watching Hal or that World News Briefing or just hanging out here on the forums....i just don't want to be a part of the world anymore which is insane for me because i work with the public.

Movies bore me and I have watched Left Behind 1 and 2 over and over for the past month...i just don't want to watch anything else..

Come on Father, take us out of here <3

Wow! I know just what you mean. The part of your post I highlighted hits home with me as well... but as many have noted it's another day for potential witnessing for Christ... He deserves the praise for each breath of air he gives to us.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me.... I'm always on a much higher rapture alert on Jewish high holy days. Jesus' first coming fulfilled many of the Jewish holy days, and it would seem that the rest of (so far unfulfilled) prophecy might just do that as well!

I have butterflies in my stomach right now as this is a very special Jewish feast day starting at sunset, Rosh Hashanah, Feast of Trumpets.

This is NOT a date-setting prediction, it is a high hope of mine!

After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this."

As others have expressed here, I also can't wait for the Lord to call us home. In the meantime, some good news. We had 10 or more people saved through our church last week before the weekend, 2 of them children. Then we had 2 teens get saved yesterday. So, the Lord is still calling people out t o be set apart for Himself and, when He calls His church home, those newly saved ones will go with us. Praise God for His mercies are new every day!

I understand what your saying but if the rapture is to occure on a feast day, that destroys the concept of an imminent rapture.

Every day is a good day, Justin. I'm sure if the Lord blows the shofar within the next 3 days, you will be with him instantly, regardless.

I feel the same as many of you and sense many other believers do as well. Maybe the increasing volume of us desiring that trumpet is happening because the time is getting close

Some people say: The rapture will definitely occur on a feast day, and since Rosh Hashanah is the next unfulfilled feast day on the calendar, therefore the rapture will occur on a Rosh Hashanah.

But I don't see that is the same as saying: We know the Bible doesn't say what day the rapture will occur, but it seems possible that the Lord might choose a feast day, the next likely one being a Rosh Hashanah. Therefore, whenever a Rosh Hashanah rolls around, we get a little excited, hoping that it might indeed be so.

I don't believe that conflicts with the doctrine of the imminent rapture.

Depends on what you mean by "we" Nate. Look around this whole world, including inside all the Christian churches, and just how many people do you see expecting Him to come at any time?

Yet Jesus told us the signs of the times, and He told us to look up because our redemption draweth nigh when certain of these signs of the times begin to resemble birth as opposed to birth pangs.

This past week, month, and quite a few years actually have been labor pains IMHO, and the birth seems to be any nanosecond now according to how I see the signs of the times at this moment in history.

But it does not matter what I think, Jesus will obediently come at the perfect time upon God's command. Soon, I pray. ing

I think that passage is meant for those who refuse to believe the rapture is about to happen even though we as watchmen know the signs surround us that he is getting ready to take us home
