My daughter wanted to listen to Christmas music in the car yesterday. Fine by me.![]()
and to wait for his Son from heaven,
whom he raised from the dead—Jesus,
who rescues us from the coming wrath
1 Thessalonians 1:10
Our local christian station was playing christmas music all day yesterday on halloween.![]()
I love Christmas music and have started listening to a few songs.
John 1:29 Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world
Revelation22:17 Both the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!"
My favorite Christmas song.

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. We have all our decorations up except the Christmas tree in the front window on a table. It is going up later today. For the new members here, members who didn't see the slideshow I put together on photobucket, and our guests here is the link with Joy To The World by Third Day. http://s530.photobucket.com/albums/dd346/ebl2008/ Enjoy!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Love

I can't think of many Christmas songs I dislike at all, although some of them are played to death on the radio (and in the grocery stores) all month. Years ago, I used to work at a department store that would pipe in Christmas music from mid-November on, and I'd had enough "Jingle Bell Rock" to last a lifetime.
Psalm 30:11-12 (New King James Version)
11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,
12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.
Pre-Flood!Thanks for the citizen title Hoot!
another one from Kenny Rogers:
A Soldiers King, makes me cry it is so beautiful
Psalm 30:11-12 (New King James Version)
11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,
12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

There are some Christmas songs that I dont like at all. Jingle bell rock is one of them. I dont like 'I'll be home for Christmas", Chestnuts roasting on an open fire song, Blue Christmas, and I am sure there are more. I dont like it when they drrrrrraaaaaaaaaggggggggg those lyrics out and on and on forever.
I love Walking in a WinterWonderland. DH is napping in the chair beside me. When he wakes up, I want to listen to the songs yall posted.
John 1:29 Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world
Revelation22:17 Both the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!"
Yeah, good thing is that there are gadzillions of different versions of the most popular Christmas songs out there . . . this is one of my personal faves:
and then Bing Crosby was up there with Como, Sinatra, Cole and others that banged out some slammin' songs last century.
