    Apostasy Owebama's "Fair Share" Lie

For anyone thinking higher taxes, as barry and the keystone cops in DC are calling for will help, feast your eyes on this.

The president proposes to allow the 33 percent tax rate to return to its pre-2001 level of 36 percent as scheduled under current law but only for joint filers with adjusted gross income over $250,000 ($200,000 for single filers, with both values in 2009 dollars and indexed for inflation in future years). For married couples filing jointly, the 36 percent bracket would begin when taxable income exceeds $250,000 minus the sum of the standard deduction for couples and the taxpayers’ personal exemptions. For single filers, the threshold would start at $200,000 minus the sum of the standard deduction for single filers and the taxpayer’s personal exemption.* The president would maintain the 33 percent tax rate for income below those thresholds that is currently taxed at 33 percent. Maintaining the 33 percent bracket for taxpayers below the thresholds would represent a tax cut relative to current law under which the tax rate would rise to 36 percent. The rate increases would raise revenue by about $440 billion over the next decade, relative to current policy.

Now that the boy king has been sent back to finish the job we are already hearing the class warfare of "the rich need to pay their fair share" but what do the numbers show?

With the analysis above they project the soaking the rich will gain an average of 44 billion per year. This, at the same time as we are running up a projected 1.2 trillion in new debt per year. Anyone with the slightest bit of common sense can see that raising rates on the rich couldn't possibly impact the deficit in a meaningful way, but then again the election showed us that common sense has gone into the witness protection program.

For me, the saddest part in all of this is people think taxing the rich is a victimless crime. Not only is it symbolic in it's effect, since it can't raise the needed $$, but it assumes that the people it targets are willing or able to afford it. It will however result in some terrible outcomes like; lower investment, trimming of their business operations or simply passing the cost to consumers. None of these outcomes bode well for the people just trying to get by, but the power elite socialists don't care how it hurts the masses, because they are too uninformed to see the real impact. The rich will be demonized, as they did to Romney, and the cycle will repeat.

The evil people in government know all of this, but insist on pitting one group against another. What's worse, people are too uneducated to know they are being used to further the ambitions of the class warriors.

Share this information with all you can, although the info is too little too late, but it should be known.

Also, for the record, I am not in either upper bracket, I simply realize there are consequences to going after the productive among us, as our current national distress proves.
There is One King, and He is not this guy.

Yes, OWL, they are evil people, and they've been methodical and patient in their quest to dismantle the greatest nation on earth. We're all sick of little barry droning on about the rich paying their "fair share." When couched in those terms, it's no wonder that the acutely suggestible bots equate capitalism with "bad."

Gary Aminoff agrees with you as he writes in today's American Thinker:

How is it that we have raised one or two generations of uneducated Americans? The answer, my friend, is not blowing in the wind. The answer lies in the curricula of our schools.

For the past several months, in my capacity in the Republican Party, I have been speaking at middle schools and high schools around Los Angeles. It has been very enlightening.

I love engaging with children. Most of them are very bright and ask brilliant questions. The questions give me insights into what they are most concerned about. It also makes clear what they are taught -- by either their parents or their teachers, or both.

To summarize -- children, for the most part, believe the following:

    a) Republicans care about only the rich -- the top 1% -- and don't care about anyone else.

    b) Republicans hate people of color and especially Latinos.

    c) Republicans hate gays.

    d) Republicans are racist.

    e) It is the government that provides jobs. (I have asked that question manytimes in classrooms or assemblies. "Who is it that creates jobs in America?" The answer is invariably, without hesitation, "the government.")

    f) Corporations are bad, and profits are very bad. Business shouldn't make profits; they should give any excess money they make to their employees.

    g) Taxes are good; they provide the money for the government to take care of people.

    h) Government should expand and take care of everyone in the country.

    i) America, rather than being a force for good in the world, has been a force for evil.

    j) Government has an unlimited source of funds. (When I ask, "Where is the government going to get the money to do all these things you want it to do?," the answer is "taxes.")

These children will soon be voters. How is it, in America, that we are raising children to believe that bigger government is better, that government is the engine that provides jobs, that profits are bad, that Republicans care about only the rich, that we are racist, and that we hate minorities and gays.

    Wow. Just wow.

The Devil is having a field day in the schools. My first reaction is no way, people can't believe or do that. Then I look at whats happening. We're all doomed. (as far as politics go)

I suppose the tide may shift the other way in a few years, likely not though. Either way, its their fight now...hope all you liberals (and teachers of that mindset) out there are happy with this kind of thing, you'll get what you get in this world you are creating. Soon you'll all turn on each other and devour one another. Good job.
Don't panic! Just be Rapture Ready.

The liberals have learned well from the capitalists.

You see the optimum business owns the raw materials, transportation, factories, and distribution of products.

Its called a monopoly and to prevent it, anti-trust laws were enacted.

I've heard arguments about the fall of the roman empire, specifically what caused it. One of the arguments I've heard most often is that a chief cause was over taxation coupled with misuse of the funds. Quite simply people didn't want to work for wages that ended up in the govenments pocket. The incentive to work, to build businesses, to provide jobs, was taken away from them.

I know there are a lot of lurkers out there, I ask them to do an internet search on "high taxes were responsible for the fall of the roman empire". It's informative. Of course this wasn't the only reason for the fall, but it was one of the biggies. Perhaps our liberal friends out there can come to realize that you cannot keep spending money like crazy, taxing a relative few for the largest portion of the taxes and keep the government afloat. There are lessons to be learned from history, if only people will keep their minds open to those lessons.

My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; the fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

A dear friend of mine told me that one of her daughter's little school friends told her, "Mitt Romney is a bad man. My mom said that if he wins, he will take me away from her. She is going to vote for Obama, because he won't take me away."

*This* is the kind of mindset we are up against. Thankfully, my friend's daughter told her friend that was not true--that it was a lie from people that don't like Mitt Romney. She is a sharp one!

Well, thank goodness, Carrie Grace. You know, a lot of good books have been written for kids about history and civics, but our challenge is how to get it to them. Michelle Rhee is an outstanding educator/administrator, but the lousy teachers' union(s) got her axed post haste. The unions, the liberalism and the ignorance are harder to combat in our schools than a severe case of athlete's foot!

And the liberal hypocrisy rears its ugly head once again. This fits in with "fair share for the rich" because if you listen to these parrots, you'd think they were the only ones who cared about the truly needy in our country.

Just watching Beckel - again - and the subject of the list of layoffs published since little barry got his second nod was on the table. Beckel was making a big, dramatic, sarcastic show of how "massive" (someone used that adjective) the layoffs would be, implying that there weren't enough to be terribly concerned. For partisans who are always "supposed" to be champions of the poor, their sympathy meter doesn't even register if it's "small" numbers of families losing their livelihoods. So the takeaway is that "bleeding hearts" don't bleed much unless it suits their purposes.

Yes, but the sad thing is that he only got his nod 3 days ago. That list is going to keep growing. At some point (and I realize, as I type this, that I am talking to rational people, not the mainstream media) it will become undeniable.

This is just a money grab. Someone else said they hope the grid lock continues, I do agree.
If spending is the real issue then cut spending, its just that simple. No need to raise taxes.

People are saying now that the current congress has 'done less' than any congress in the last 20-something years, as if that is a bad thing.
