Satellite detects Iran attempt to smuggle Fajr rockets to Gaza

Hamas figures have said that the ceasefire will not deter the terror organization from attempting to arm itself with Iranian weapons, and Israel has already detected such an attempt.

British newspaper The Sunday Times reported that Israeli spy satellites have recognized a cargo ship, docked at an Iranian port, being loaded with missiles presumably bound for the Gaza Strip.

According to the report, a cargo ship docked at the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas was being loaded with rockets and other weapons and munitions. According to analysts, the shipment is in all likelihood heading for Gaza through the Red Sea, Sudan and then Egypt (which shares a border with Gaza).

Israeli intelligence sources believe the weapons-laden cargo ship will pass through the well established Iranian weapons smuggling route to Gaza, through Sudan and the Red Sea. Sources told the British newspaper that they believe Iranian ships stationed in Eritrea will escort the ship from the moment it enters the Red Sea. "Regardless of the ceasefire agreement, we will attack and destroy any shipment of arms to Gaza once we have spotted it," an Israeli defense source said.

Every time I read something like this, I play out my "If I were Commander-in-Chief for One Week" fantasy. In this case:

1) Destroy the aforementioned ship with a GPS-guided 2,000 pound bomb dropped from a Stealth fighter. Repeat process whenever and wherever necessary.

2) Destroy all Iranian nuclear facilities (including those used for "peaceful" puposes) and render the area surrounding them for fifty miles in any direction uninhabitable for 500 years (minimum). (Five B-2s should do the trick.)

3) Give Israel a sabbatical, allowing them to plan for other foes, while we send ground forces to the Egypt-Gaza border, destroy all tunnels (including those built for deliveries of Omaha Steaks and other seasonal treats) that (formerly) crossed this border, and declare a ten-mile strip of land along this border a No Walk/No Dig zone. Any movement in this zone (after our ground forces leave), including detection of digging from sensors, will be considered hostile. Repeat process along our own southern border.

4) Cut off aid to Egypt. The spirits of the pharoahs will sustain them.

5) Donate seven B-2s to Israel, including twenty years' worth of spare parts. Repeat process with F-16s. Donate a squadron of FY-22s. Repeat spare parts process. Relocate Area 51 to the Negev desert so Israeli engineers can design a new air superiority fighter.

You know, maybe this process could take more than a week:

6) Have Congress enact weekly extension powers option until Israel is safe.

7) Send Nancy Pelosi to Israel to apologize to the Knesset for telling them where to build settlements and to promise that the U.S. will never interfere in Israel's domestic
affairs again.

8) Give Hillary sweeping powers. Tell her to crank up her broom and sweep the halls of Congress.

I said this in another thread, the only reason there was a cease-fire is so that Iran could resupply Hamas! This is becoming a joke and the UN and US knows whats going on and doesn't care! Israel shouldn't have accepted the cease-fire and finished the job. I saw a poll in Israel that showed something like 70% of the people supported the ground invasion!

It has to rankle Israeli citizens, especially those in range of missiles fired from Gaza, to watch thousands of reservists and hundreds of heavily armored vehicles moved to the Gaza border, only to return home.

Personally, I can't afford the gas for aborted trips.

Good plan except we got Obama for another 4 years. Israel is on Her own. Obama will try to use Israel in any way that he can, but forget about him doing anything that might help Israel. Israel has GOD and HE is all they need to win.

We need to forget Iran, Israel will not need to attack them. Isaiah 17 is going to come first, then maybe the Rapture, and then Ezekiel 38 where GOD will take care of Iran, Russia and all those moslem nations that attemp to destroy Israel. They will fail and Israel will sign a worthless 7 year treaty with the AC.

I think their signing the cease-fire last week shows their willingness to sign that worthless 7 year 'peace' treaty that is soon to come ! I think they are all too eager to avoid the 'Samson Option' (... not that it will ever come to that . I don't think that Israel is even capable of 'self-destruction' , let alone being destroyed by some other entity , God won't allow it. However , I don't think they all know that yet .) I think Bibi is willing to give just about anything a chance for peace , except giving away more land . Certainly he knows that once he dives in full force then there's probably no turning back , everything will escalate rapidly ... snowball . And it might just be that when Bibi has given up hope that all else has failed (which it has) and he decides to move forward with ground invasions , etc. and all the demons of hell have seemingly been unleashed that everybody will be ready for some relief after a few days/weeks of dodging bombs (... like Jerry Clower's Uncle John up the tree with that suped-up wild cat ... 'one of us has got to have some relief!') All sides will be ready for a break , even if it means a Jewish Temple is involved. --- Ok , I'm rambling again .... going to bed .

Yep...The "cease fire" is such a farce. It boggles my mind why Netanyahu knuckled under and didn't finish the job. Sooner or later, they are going to have to utterly crush Hamas and Gaza. A lot of innocent bystanders are going to be caught in the crossfire, but it is what it is.

I read that Netanyahu agreed to the cease fire only because Obama promised U.S. troops to help guard the border. That was a day or two ago and I'm not positive where the U.S. troops were to be placed, but I am sure that was the reason given for Netanyahu's agreement.

The first thing I thought was "How Shocking"! ( just being sarcastic of course) we all pretty
much know what to expect from the enemy, all they do is lie and the world actually believes them , not the
