    Default Creepy "Left Behind" Thought

Every time I see a headline about a group's reaction after a closed door meeting with Obama, I can't help but think of how Buck felt watching the room full of people be hypnotized by Nicolae Carpathia.

The Republicans saying, "Obama is really reaching out", or "I really think we made some headway in solving this problem", etc.

It kinda scares me. Is he blackmailing them? Has he had the FBI snoop into their backgrounds to find any dirty little secret. Is he bribing them? Has he threatened their families? Why were they so willing to cave in to his agenda?

If only DC was filled with godly people. (sigh)

Can't wait to meet the Lord in the sky.

Reminds me of when Chris Christie went all huggy with Obama. I wondered if Obama told him that the fix was in, he was going to win, and if Christie knew what was good for him, he'd be really chummy with O in public. I know that Christie wanted to get aid from Obama, and everyone likes a winner, but still it sickens me.

Cloud Watcher, are you also thinking about how Lindsey Graham and John McCain had dinner with the Prez while Rand Paul was engaging in his filibuster, and how then the next day McCain and Graham ridiculed Rand Paul? I just wonder what McCain and Graham think they are going to get out of O for this. Personally, I would never want to be alone in a room with Obama.

That's one of them. Today in one of the newsletter e-mails I got there was an article about evangelical leaders meeting with him about immigration reform. There have been other instances too, people who have disagreed with him before suddenly get all buddy buddy with him. To me, he is an Olympic gold medal con artist. I wouldn't trust a word he says. Makes me wonder how anyone in their right mind could. Meet with Obama...drink deeply of the Kool-Aid....walk out and join the other Stepford politicians.

I've been thinking along these lines for quite some time now. Even though I have no proof (after all, how could I!), I would be willing to bet that this is exactly what's been going on. I know I heard (via Mark Levin among others) that Republican congressmen and senators were being removed from committees by their own party "higher ups" (the good old boys club or RINOS) if they spoke out of line.... I haven't liked McCain or Graham for quite some time. There are others like Carl Rove who I don't "trust", for lack of a better word.... There are so very few I DO trust--Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz... And Allen West and Jim Demint who are no longer serving . It's all about "power." Too many are drinking the koolaid! I want to slap them and tell them it's time to wake up! But, alas, I'm not one prone to do so. Instead I need to pray for them. , for They know not what they do....
Now when these things begin to take place, look up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near Luke21:28

There is virtually no difference between 90% of republicans and democrats at the national level. The only differences are "acts" for the public benefit. McCain and Graham are complete sell outs. We are marching quickly toward the tribulation government. I mean really is there any doubt anymore about the game they are playing. We have been duped.

The first time I wondered about hypnosis was his first inauguration. How he said, "Yes we can!" and they answered, "Yes we can!" Several times. The look on his face. The way he carried himself. The looks on their faces. Totally gave me the creeps.

"Stepford politicians" - I like it.

Jan 51, yes, that is a form of mass hypnosis. Hitler actually mentioned hypnosis in his writings: “What you say to the people collectively in that receptive state of fanatical abandonment remains in their mind like an order given to someone under hypnosis, which can not be wiped out and resists all logical argument."

He used some techniques such as repeating something at least three times, pacing (which gets the audience to follow him with their eyes and makes them more susceptible to doing what he says), etc.

Obama definitely used mass hypnosis techniques on the campaign trail. I don't know if he uses that in close company. I do know that he's used blackmail. Every single election he was in, he had people dig up dirt on the opponents and some of them simply quit the race. That's part of the Chicago Way.

They are only concerned with one thing - Re-Election, nothing else.

I came across a backmasked clip of Obama saying "yes we can" repeatedly in a speech. The backmasked message is even creepier.
    Just google "backmasked Obama."

My dh has said ever since the initial election of Obama, that he looks like a black Nicolae Carpathia! The resemblances are creepy!

I didn't like him even as a senator. It seemed like everyone thought he was so charismatic and a great speaker. All I heard was noise. He rubbed me the wrong way even then.

I guess the Lord has blessed us with discernment and an immunity shield to keep us from being effected. This guy has never charmed me at all. As for listening to his speeches, I am always yelling "Liar, liar, pants on fire" whenever I see him on tv.

Oh ick, I just saw this news article on Yahoo. Look at the language.

    http://news.yahoo.com/lawmakers-obam...152537676.html

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican lawmakers said Sunday they welcome President Barack Obama's courtship and suggested the fresh engagement between the White House and Congress might help yield solutions to the stubborn budget battle that puts Americans' jobs at risk.

Yet the lawmakers cautioned that years of hurt feelings were unlikely to heal simply because Obama dined last week with Republican lawmakers. They also said they would not to rush too quickly into Obama's embrace during three scheduled, and unusual, visits to Capitol Hill next week to win them over.

"He is moving in the right direction. I'm proud of him for doing it. I think it's a great thing," Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., said. "I'm welcoming (him) with open arms. I think the president is tremendously sincere. I don't think this is just a political change in tactic. I think he would actually like to solve the problems of this country."

Satanic deception may be the reason but I honestly think even Obama's most outspoken opponents get giddy around him due to his position (POTUS) and the fact that yes is no longer yes and no is no longer no in politics. The "art of the deal" and "choosing your battles" is more important than leading and saying what is right; no matter who it has to be said to and who it makes mad.

He does indeed have a great deal of charisma- he wouldn' have been elected otherwise. All of our past leaders have had a certain amount of charisma, or said the right things that the people wanted to hear in order to get elected. It's just part of the political landscape. You have to know what to say, and how to say it. Most of our leaders have been trained and polished in this area, so unfortunately, it's not isolated to our current leader.
I'm not one to blindly trust anyone, so I'm certainly not drinking the kool-aid, - just saying that I doubt he is doing anything most of our other leaders haven't done. I think he is just more polished in the technique.
Imagine how polished the ac will be! Yes, it will be akin to "Nicolae Carpathia" on the Left Behind series. Now that is a really scary thought!

Personally, I believe that except for O's few followers who are avowed socialists/communists/Marxists, the rest are just stupid. I know some of you don't like me to use that word, but it's the only one that fits. "Ignorance" only applies if you're living in some primitive tribe somewhere (are they still in Samoa?). But in this country, whether you're formally educated or not, information and knowledge abound - they're there for the taking. And who among O's rabid supporters don't have access to technology? If not, their hallowed one will give them a free phone.

No, these people are just plain stupid. If you asked any one of them what they look for in evaluating a political candidate, the answer you'd get, if you got one at all, would be how many times he/she has appeared on late night TV, or how "cool" his/her spouse is.

If I sound like I've joined the "let it burn" set, I have to admit that I'm on the verge.

Carla, I have no problem with you using the word " stupid" to describe the mentality of Zeros supporters. In fact, I agree with you! How else do you explain reelecting a "man" (i think he is something other than who he claims to be but i am not allowed to use those two letters to describe him) who has been caught in numerous lies, been told by this dictator and his hippocrit wife how to think, live, spend, eat, teach your kids in schools,, take away rights to protect yourself, push gay marriage and abortion down our throats, been openly hostile to Israel, and not to mention caused millions of people to lose their jobs by in part odumbo care? Yes, I think "stupid" is an accurate description to describe the actions of an o supporter reelecting this trainwreck!

Oh, Sherri, in my "weaker" moments, I imagine the Lord rapturing us during O's administration -- and I'm gleeful that O and his bots are left here with one huge chunk of their tax base gone. Now I say "weaker," because I don't "wish" for anyone to be left behind (I truly do pray for lost souls), and I know we'll be too thrilled singing the King's praises to think about petty issues - like "nana nana boo boo" -- but in my weak human state I enjoy the "gloat."

I agree, Carla....I know you or noone here wants to see anyone left behind. Jesus Himself wants all to be saved. But sometimes people, o and his bots, have to learn the hard way. I wish that wasnt so but it is. I dont really want to see the turmoil on Earth from Heaven. I wouldn't think we would seeing Judgement coming down on unsaved loved ones. No tears or crying in Heaven. I want to spend the eternity worshipping our Lord and Saviour, Jesus:
