The hoof beats are deafening. Last night my mother in law (a Christian who I didn't even think believed in the rapture) said how can you deny all that you see and not think we are living in the end times. She said it has opened her eyes.

I was wondering if we are now seeing the Black Horse ride over the American dollar with this new financial crisis ?
if u read what John seen in the book of Revelations , so what do u think ?
The black horse is after the rapture.
I do think recent events has just shown us a small glimpse of how quickly it would get that way with the food riots, farmers struggling all over the world with crops, high cost of gas causing the price of food to go up, and an American economic crisis that can effect the rest of the worlds markets

No the black horse is not ready yet. The rapture will happen first but I do see satan eyeballing it and ready to mount on it.
Definitely after the rapture but I sure hear the hoof beats!
FYI...it's the Book of Revelation not Revelations...." The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,..." Rev 1:1 and oh how my heart yearns for His coming!

yes, most definitely...the black horse riders has a pair of scales in his hands....he "measures" the wheat and the barley - that means FOOD QUOTAS are coming ! Also hyperinflation, where the poor get poorer and the rich get richer (touch not the oil and the wine)...the oil and the wine are for the rich.
All of the horses are lined up pushing at their gates to be let out.....

My pastor talked of the economic crisis today. He said 'if you think Bush, McCain or Obama will fix this your sadly mistaken.' He said he doesn't know how much worse it will get but everything is leading up to the things mentioned in Rev. He was telling us not to look to man or the world to solve anything only look upwards toward Christ.... He is the only one who can fix the mess we're in. He said we're in this mess in the first place because we've left God out and in His time He will pour His wrath out on this world. He said the next thing scheduled is the rapture and felt led to tell us to look up not at the world for any helps we need.
He also explained that that doesn't mean it won't do any good to vote... just vote with prayer that our new leaders will look to God also.
I wish I could remember his sermon word for word... it was very good!!
There are always many "What if" scenarios in our lives.
One thing we know is that we can have complete confidence in the Lord's taking care of us and His hand in what the future holds.
Our eyes need to be on Him, praying and trusting Him as He is our Savior and Shepherd who loves His "sheep"
