This is part of the video I saw yesterday. Louie Giglio speaks about God's greatness as evidenced by a protein in our body that holds all our cells together, called Laminin. Watch it and be amazed!

WOAH! I just posted that on another forum, nice find!

P.S. How is Louie Giglio's last name pronounced? Is it Gigg-lee-oh or Jill-ee-oh. I assume "Jill-ee-oh" is the correct Italian pronounciation.

lol, It's funny because just last week I went to a Passion event in ATL and he kind of made a joke about his name how it is pronounce "Gigg-lee-oh" because his grandparents butchered his last name when they came to America bc the Americans couldnt pronounce it right, but it was originally pronounced "Jill-oo-oh".

It's Gigg-lee-oh - I worked with a lady who went to his church... That's how she pronounced it.

I am a bit concerned that people are not excited about this. This really touched me and it put me in greater awe of my creator!!!

    Well....
Laminin is actually very 'floppy' so it doesn't usually resemble a cross. Besides, a cross really isn't that uncommen a shape, it's just two lines crossing.

Besides, remember what this does for free choice. If God created life to contain laminin with the intention of showing his existence through it, that means he had allready decided that Jesus had to die on the cross, thus giving him no choice in the matter.

I think this is really just a crutch for people who don't have enough faith, just like "jesus" apearing on a tree, or piece of toast
You can see crosses everywhere if you want to, look at your floortiles for example.

    All wonderfully made?

What about the curse from adam and being made from that image?
Should i dare bring up Psalm 7, where it says God hates all who do wicked which means unless you repent

The Son of God, who died for our sins.

Jesus came to do specifically what the Father told Him to do. Jesus gave up His "free choice" for the will of the Father. I believe God already had the plan before He actually created man.
But, did Jesus give up his free choice freely, taking the suggestoin by God? Or did God force him? If it's the second, then wouldn't that break the free-will thing? I personally think that Jesus chose to give his life freely, just because God COULD force Him, doesn't mean he did.

as far as crutches. . . . . you do not know me, you do not know what I have been through, and you certainly have no idea what kind of faith I have.
I didn't mean it as an insult. I'm sorry if It sounded like that. I just meant to say that Laminin, which doesn't usually resemble a cross in real life, is taken as 'proof of God', that's a bit far fetched, and you shoudn't need it to have faith in Him.

That the scientific world uses the shape of a cross for the symbolism of laminin I think is pretty cool.

Jesus came to do specifically what the Father told Him to do. Jesus gave up His "free choice" for the will of the Father. re-thinking this part- - I think I said this wrong, Jesus did have His own will, only it was tuned in to the will of the Father. When He prayed in the garden, His humanity crying out, if there is another way, then take this cup from me, but He surrenders His human will to the Father and says, nevertheless, not my will, but thine be done. If He hadnt freely given up His life for ours, then His mission to earth would have failed. His mission was to die on that cross and rise again on the third day. He knew this before the time, when he cleaned out the temple and the pharisees question Him, He says, tear down this temple and in three days I will rebuild it.

I believe God already had the plan before He actually created man.

as far as crutches. . . . . you do not know me, you do not know what I have been through, and you certainly have no idea what kind of faith I have.

I praise God for all He has done in my life and in the lives of those around me. He has done marvelous things. More than I ever deserved. He is my rock, and He is the glue that holds me together. I just happen to think that the symbolic shape of Laminin is a cross, is really awesome, and just makes that scripture more real that says that by Him all things are held together.

    Psalm 139:14
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

    Hebrews 10:7
Then I said, 'Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll— I have come to do your will, O God.' "

    Hebrews 5:7
During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.

Does the Bible not tell us that Jesus is the Lamb of God, slain before the foundations of the earth? It doesn't take away Jesus' free will, it only proves that God knew, outside of time, the end from the beginning. Remember, Jesus was not simply a human being.. He is God Himself. How much imagination does it take to assume that God wouldn't disagree with God? We were created by Jesus, through Jesus and FOR Jesus (the Bible says so) and, Jesus, being in the beginning with God and WAS God (John 1:1), would know EXACTLY what it was He was going to do in order to reconcile a lost people to Him before said people were even formed because He IS.

IS laminin definitive proof that God put within us to declare His glory? Well, I PERSONALLY don't know... but the BIBLE says that ALL of creation declares the glory of God so that man is without excuse on the day of jdugement. No one is going to stand before God and say, "Honest to God, God.... I had NO IDEA!"

    In His love,

That is a two part series on the design of the body. It is massively evangelical. Well worth seeing.
