It appears that the cross shape is only a scientific representation of Laminin. Snopes has an actual electron microscope view at the bottom of the page above.

The actual images arent so impressive to me.

Whether or not God made Laminin to look like a cross He is still
all powerful and worthy of all praise for ever and ever.

Besides, remember what this does for free choice. If God created life to contain laminin with the intention of showing his existence through it, that means he had allready decided that Jesus had to die on the cross, thus giving him no choice in the matter.

Science deals entirely with the workings of the physical universe and has nothing whatsoever to say about anything supernatural (including God). Any effort to mix the two does unspeakable violence to both and is doomed to fail on both counts.

Psalms 19:

6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

There is real science and it goes hand in glove with the Bible and vice versa. Then there is supposed science.

1 Timothy 6:

So we can see that there is something falsely called science. It is profane and vain babblings. We get that a lot from the "scientific" community; especially in regards to subjects like evolution.

I would add that real science is the search for truth about a matter and we know that Jesus is the Way, the TRUTH and the Life so logically, real science can lead to the discovery of the Creator.

Sadly, many scientists assume no creator in their search for knowledge which is antithetical to true science; one cannot pursue knowledge and first discount the existence of something.

I had an earlier posting on this topic, but somebody deleted it. I hope it's not because anyone found it offensive. I don't think it is, and I hope that fair-minded believers will agree.

Here is what Snopes has to say on this topic: http://www.snopes.com/glurge/laminin.asp I say this, not for the sake of denying God's grandeur, but because I think we need to understand the counterarguments that non-believers would throw our way. Besides, should we not be aware of any weaknesses in our own arguments, if indeed there are any?

Again, I'm not denying the majesty of God, nor am I saying that the shape of the laminin molecule is just a wild coincidence. I simply want to approach this topic as a fair-minded Berean.

Be careful...this kind hooplah, although I readily admit is neat to think about, comes dangerously close to mysticism. Our faith must be grounded in God's Word alone, not in molecules, proteins, or the appearance of some galaxy.

This is good stuff. I remember we showed our church the scientific diagram of a laminin molecule one night. It was really surprising.

Did anyone see the video on the computer about the molicule Laminin???
I have never heard of the guy before or laminin but it is someting that is in every body and it is in the shape of the cross. If this is true it is realy awesome. I saw something once in a book by Chuck Missler where he showed what a picture of the camp of Israel would look like from the sky. It was in the shape of the cross also.
Sorry I don't know how to cut and paste to put the video on but I am sure someone here knows how if it is okay to do that.
