Default Checking in - less than 6 weeks left!

    Howdy all...

Just checking in. I'm almost 35 weeks along and our LO is due on June 19th. Last week we had to go to the big women's hospital for a fetal cardiologist to have a look at her heart after we heard a funky arrthymia at our local hospital. He didn't see anything *yay!*

That said, my OB isn't happy with her reactions on the non-stress tests, so I have to go back to the doc tomorrow for another ultrasound and NST (such fun). Other than these things, she seems to be doing well. She was beating me up from the inside most of today

Last night I had my first round of contractions...every 5-10 minutes for about 2 hours, then it stopped. The pain never increased, so I didn't call the OB. It was a little nerve wracking when we figured out what was going on...so different from the practice contractions I get during the day. We're still hoping that our LO stays baking for a couple more weeks (at least 2), although our hospital bags are packed and ready (for the most part).

And that is my update... I figure we'll be holding our LO before June 10th.

Awww hang in there you two are almost there

Have 2 questions. One is did anyone wear or have bought the bellybands and how well did they work as shirt extenders and bras? And what do you ladies know about the walking epidural or where can I find good information about the the walking as apposed to the full epi which is what I had with my first? I didn't like laying in a hospital bed from about 6am to 3pm and I shook as the medication wore off *should've left for the hospital sooner though* Thinking early about my choices this time!

DH and I just found out a week ago that I'm pregnant with our third little bundle of joy! The positive test result was confirmed by my doctor today, and with the symptoms I'm already having, there's no doubt in my mind this one is sticking around. I miscarried our first, and so the first trimester always makes me a bit nervous, meaning we don't usually announce to our general acquaintance until the end of the first trimester, or until I can't hide it any longer, whichever comes first. With this one, I have a feeling the latter will come first. But I wanted to announce to my sisters and brothers on the RR forum anyway, because we're excited, and prayers for the health of our baby during this particularly vulnerable time would be appreciated!

I don't have an "official" due date yet, but to the best of my calculations, I should be due around March 2, give or take a couple of days.

Wow thought I would revive this thread with an update of my own. Went to my doctor yesterday and the date that our little boy will be here is July 3rd. everything goes well with this c section.
Everything changed the day they figured out there was exactly enough time for the important things in their lives.

Ok, I'm 10 weeks along with our third child. I know it's best for us to sleep on our left side, but I hate sleeping on my left. Since its a while before I see my Dr. again, have any of you slept on you right side? That the side I rolled onto to go to sleep befor I got pregnant.

The left side is best however I do have a hard time doing that. The right side is fine. I sleep a majority on my right side.

Had to tell someone- my girlfriend just had her 5th today, a baby girl named Mayah Grace.

She doesn't belong here in this forum but she is a pre-tribber

I'm due for my 3rd C-section on the 12th. I want to know if I can color my hair the day before. I've colored by hair before, but never while pregnant. (silly question, but I'm tied of seeing gray hairs)

If I have any hair left. We're having to fight with the hospital now on the date. We did the preregistration back in July for the 12th of December. Now they're telling my Dr. that they are all booked up for that day, and want us to do it on Monday. We'de have to leave here at 4:15 am (when the weather is suppost to be bad) and drive two counties over to the hospital. They also told my Dr. that they have no record of my reistration. Ha Ha, I do! All of it. On top of that, DH's mom and step dad won't be able to come because he can't take off that day and she doesn't drive at night or outside of our town, so our kids would miss out on it too.
My Dr is at the hospital today, so he can chomp at them. If that doesn't work, I plan tp call them and pitch a pregnancy induced hissy fit, then demand that they take a couple of hundred off the deposit that we have to pay.

    Hey Ladies,

I have a question for you- My husband and I were not planning for another baby (we have two boys) and have been very careful. My period is due on the 14th, so I am just three days away. I have had symptoms that lead me to believe I may be pregnant. I am absolutely exhausted, been feeling some nausea (never had it with other pregnancies), mood swings, tenderness in my chest and a metallic taste in my mouth. I took a test today and it was negative. If I am not pregnant, what is going on?
"Jesus said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it."

This is definitely something to consult a physician about, as there can be no med. advice given out on the 'boards.
