I really hope all of you are right. I hope it is not just wishful thinking. I am ready to go now. When I try to wrap my head around it sometimes it just seems to come down to wishful thinking. But ya'll are right, things are getting worse by the day. Weather worse, economy worse, crimes more heinous and rampant. More people being murdered by their own fathers, mothers, daughters and sons and if the pattern keeps going then in ten years it should be unbearable.

ha ha, things are not the same from week to week anymore much less Ten years from now.

If by chance we're still here in Ten years, we will look back at 2008 as the "good old days"

I should have said: We'll be back here in ten years, enjoying the millenium.

If we are still here in 10 years then things will not be the same, they will be much worse.

Don't know the future in ten years but do know that as we are representing Christ in our lives we should be salt to an unsaved world. We keep looking and help encourage others in their walk in Christ. God's timing will occur even in our impatience. He's knows what he is doing. I was told in the 1960's by one of my relatives (a seventh day adventist missionary kid) that we only had a year or two before the return of Christ. I was young and believed what he said. Thats been over 40 years and didn't happen yet. I think our time is close, with the current events going on but not sure when. A couple of things that bring me to that, is the Nuclear war possibilities and Israel state of unrest with groups wanting to destroy it. Come Lord Jesus ...

I really hope we aren't here in 10 years...and that if we are, we'll be in the MK. Someone mentioned wishful thinking, tho, and I so hope that's not all this is. I know the signs point to things wrapping up, but it's all in God's perfect time.

We were out tonight, and it seems like nothing has changed. Where I live, nobody seems to even notice what is going on, nor do they seem to feel the impact of economics. Cars were everywhere, the restaurants were packed, folks were shopping, going to their kids very expensive travel baseball games...laughing, happy, untouched, it seems, by decaying world conditions. Everyone just keeps on keeping on. Spiritually, most are blind.

Of course, as the Word says, "as in the days of Noah." It's just seems like we've been in those days for a long time. Selfish or not, I'm ready to see this age come to its end.

It's hard to say... Something interesting though, I was watching TBN a few weeks ago and there was a news cast on which showed that in USA Today an article was printed that by 2017 the universal debit system for "buying and selling" is apparently supposed to be up and running. A friend of mine also said her mother recently bought stock in the "Angel Chip" which is apparently a computer chip device. Now if all this pans out as true, then i guess I'd like to believe that I'll be in heaven with all of you!!

As time goes on, life should be getting better.

    It's not, not even close.

Storms are getting more frequent and severe (already a record number of tornadoes for this year, and tornado season isn' over).

More and more earthquakes all over the world (birth pangs).

Along with the illegal alien invasion (and it is an invasion) 3rd world diseases are being seen more and more in America.

People driving as if they all own the road- yield right of way has become get out of my way to many drivers.

The gap between the very rich and the middle class becomes larger every day.

    etc...etc..ad nauseam

You know I have a hard time picturing 10 years down the road.. It is like I can't cause I just don't believe we will be here..I do not tell many people this because they would say I am crazy and what a downer thought that is. But I think its a good thought. My kids are little, 4 and 1, and I am so afraid of them coming up in this world that is just going down the toilet morally.

I am about to start nursing school but there is a part of me that says, why even bother?? I guess I cannot think like that though, huh??

I think we could possibly still be here in 10 years, but the world will be much worse and probably on the brink of the trib. by then. Right now it seems we're on a downhill slope that keeps getting steeper as each year goes by until the trib. when the world falls into the abyss. As someone above said, I'm afraid to see what gas prices will be in 10 years if we're still here. $25/gallon would probably not be out the question.

I hear ya. It's gotten to where I really can't picture what is going to happen in the years ahead. All I know is that it won't be good. This earth is winding down, and we are going to see lawlessness continue at warp speed. Somewhere down the road there aren't going to be any morals left in society and we will reach the point of Sodom and Gomorrah, and then go beyond that.

I personally believe that virtual reality needs to be developed before the rapture takes place and specifically virtual sex so there can be a virtual Sodom and Gomorrah using the computer. Although it is already a virtual Sodom and Gomorrah on the internet. I think it is very likely we will be here another ten years though and things will get worse and worse

Things will be much, much worse if we are still here in 10 years. Personally, I really think we probably don't have that long because of the way things are going, especially with the Iran situation.

What does virtual reality have to do with anything?

Well, I suppose that's possible and you are as entitled to your opinion as I am mine, but I don't think there's any biblical basis for believing that. I guess I'll just have to chalk it all up up to a difference of opinions.

We will have curfews for everyone due to terrorism. Pornography will be more accepted on live television. Thats just a few of what I see we are headed toward.
I actually can see alot of this coming to pass. The homosexual agenda completely legalized. The agenda to have more than (1) spouse on the horizon. Porn TV being part of basic cable. Prostitution being legalized in all states and regulated through federal laws. Curfew will be a federal rule. We will have bio-id's. Unless represented by a federal lawyer - the people will not have a voice. I don't know what America as we know it will be. But I do think - Christian's will be marked and terrorized on a daily bases. Other countries are showing this behavior to be an everyday occurance. If we are here for another 10 years - I know it will hit America like a plaque. We already hear it in the news -
