Genesis 19:4-11
4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: 5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. 6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, 7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
And so it is today,,,the politicians (and even the church) call these people "brethren", and appease them. All for the sake of keeping their position and power and money. When things get so bad that God hears about it in heaven, He sends the angels to see "if these things are really so...", as in the story of Lot. And then we know what will follow if these things really are so..............when these people are aggressive, and pushing their agenda, and yet they are appeased.
