Homosexual Parade in Jerusalem This Afternoon
    23 Sivan 5768, June 26, '08

(IsraelNN.com) The “Homosexual Pride Parade” will begin 4 PM this afternoon at Jerusalem’s Independence Park, in the city center. The parade will make its way along King David St. to the Bell Garden in Jerusalem’s Komemiyut neighborhood.

Approximately 2000 police officers will secure the parade, participants and the parade route (compared with more than 10,000 officers at last year’s parade), according to Army Radio. Instead, members of the Jerusalem homosexual “Open House” will be present along the route to identify potential troublemakers.

At the same time, a massive counter

I'm not surprised. Jerusalem is much like any other city ... what I mean is they have sex houses for lack of a better word where "doors are locked" when more racy entertainment goes on. Prostitution is there as well as the usual immoral kinds of activities for $$.

what I dont understand is why homosexuals feel like they need to have parades.... Is there any such thing as a "straight parade"? It just screams to me that many of them choose to be homosexual simply for the attention.

Lot eventually became a wealthy politician in Sodom (he sat at the gates). Notice in Genesis 19, when the homosexuals were going to break down his door to abduct the two angels, what Lot said,

    Genesis 19:4-11
4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: 5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. 6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him, 7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

And so it is today,,,the politicians (and even the church) call these people "brethren", and appease them. All for the sake of keeping their position and power and money. When things get so bad that God hears about it in heaven, He sends the angels to see "if these things are really so...", as in the story of Lot. And then we know what will follow if these things really are so..............when these people are aggressive, and pushing their agenda, and yet they are appeased.

Isaiah 3:8-9 Jerusalem staggers, Judah is falling; their words and deeds are against the Lord, defying his glorious presence. The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves.

I guess what I find the most frustrating is the message they send by choosing to have the parade in Jerusalem. It is the same message they have sent by using a rainbow as their symbol. They are defiling things that were once intended to be holy.

It just makes you wonder how much longer until that last brother/sister enters the kingdom, how much longer until God's patience gives out...

What's keeping us from having parades for Christ? I'm not talking about Christmas and Easter either just a simple no frills march to show that we're here, not protesting anything, just celebrating and sharing the love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I see parades for everything else under the sun. Just yesterday there was a large hindu procession here in Montreal carrying their deities from one location to another. A while back was a muslim procession you could hear blocks away because they had their music blaring for all to hear. Just a thought.
