We shouldnt be considering ourselves in a religion anyway. Religion is mans way. Mans dogma about how we think it should be done. All religions that are not about a relationship with Jesus is about doing satans will.

I believe Satan uses different religions to accomplish his goals. In another thread, one regarding Obama and his possible Muslim ties, Tio_Peregrino posted a video by InvestigateIslam (made by Christians who were once Muslims). That led me to another video that I found interesting, too. It may be difficult to understand him; he has a heavy accent. But I found it interesting. He argues, using the Koran, that Allah and Satan are one and the same.

Well, if there is anyone still awaiting a "messiah" (and obviously then they don't accept Jesus, God's Son as such) won't they all be thinking together that the antichrist (lowercase "a"-he's not important) is the messiah then?? What a big horrible confusion! Am I wrong? And there are MANY people "religions" that are still waiting...
I think that is exactly what is going to happen. Satan is working to make sure that men will accept his "messiah." But we all know how it ends. I just am sorry that so many will willingly be deceived rather than just accept the Truth and Life through the actual Messiah.

Notice how the majority of religions have very similar occurrences in their history. Satan is mighty experienced in taking some truth and mixing it with some lies which leads to the path of destruction.

I saw some stuff about what the followers of Mohammed believe and it sounds very much like what we believe, only slightly different so as to make them ripe for deception when the Antichrist comes on the scene.
My jaw dropped when I read that the "Mahdi," the so-called redeemer that the Mohammedians are waiting for, will supposedly stay on the Earth for 7 years before the "Yaum al-Qiyamah," or Day of the Resurrection.
Sounds very similar to what will REALLY happen, when the Tribulation will happen as the Antichrist deceives for 7 years before our Lord Jesus comes .back to begin the Millenium.

And then, you add on top of that the group of people that the Islamic religion has the most hate for - the Jews - and you begin to see how it is a tool of Satan.

I recommend this EXCELLENT book by Renald Showers, What On Earth Is God Doing? It is a short, easy to read book of only 128 pages, but packed with good insights regarding the battle satan has wrought for souls. The last half of the book is about the battle inside the church, from the time Israel rejected her Messiah, thru the reformation and into today. When you read it, you get a real sense of urgency to stand for God's Truth and though first copyrighted in 1973, it'll give you a firm understanding of what is taking place in the "church" today.
I have found other videos he has made on a website called muhammadtube.com - it's important that you spell it with an "a" at the end of "muhammad" instead of an "e" or else it'll take you to a completely different site. We are not to see things with our heart. In reality, the heart is where we suffer great deception. We are incapable of knowing our own hearts, and God tells us our hearts are desperately wicked.
God is not only love. He is also holy. That holiness requires judgment for our unrighteousness and sin. Only God knows the heart, so yes, only God can judge, but exposing false doctrines and false religions through the light of Scripture is not forbidden, and in fact, encouraged by our Lord.
So Buddhists are "with Jesus"? Hindus? Muslims? Daoists? All of these religious systems have some aspect of love, acceptance, wisdom or compassion.Therefore, if the religion promotes love, acceptance, wisdom, and compassion, then the followers are with Jesus.
If the religion promotes hatred, bigotry, prejudice, and refuses to allow its followers to think for themselves, it's a cult.
I think you need to reconsider this position, unfortunately it is not Biblical, and therefore, not the way God views it.
This is true. Satan is always seeking to use God's Words and His Children to harm others and blur the Truth behind our sinful actions. But just because this happens to be true in no way negates the absolute, God-breathed Truth found only in the Holy Bible.This, however, does not limit specific religions. Anyone can use any of the above to harm others, even in an otherwise seemingly-peaceful faith. People have even used the Words of Christ to cause harm to others.
Um, Satan is the prince of this world right now . . .As for Satan using faith for his own gains, remember, when humans chose the tree of wisdom, God removed Satan's wings, rendering him powerless.

If Satan is powerless, how did this happen?
