I just finished this book. The very idea of such a plot intrigued me enough to purchase it. Now I'm glad I did. I enjoyed it very much.
A forensic detective is in Israel at a conference. He's seen it all and done it all regarding crime scene analysis. He's burned out and cynical. He meets a stranger who takes him back in time to Jerusalem in the days following Jesus' crucifixion. His guide tells him the only way to return to his own time is to solve a historical crime....."a conspiracy of the many to kill the One."
I liked it.....and it really made you think about believing by faith and not by sight.
