No disrespect to my American friends but I think the reason the USA isn't shown clearly in the Bible is for the same reason Canada, Australia and New Zealand aren't. All these countries are populated for the most part by Europeans, so I think the Bible treats them as such. I also think it is because the USA has never invaded Israel.
The young lions could be a reference to the USA coming out of the British Empire, a lion being its national symbolic beast.
Anyways. If you are American, be glad your country isn't mentioned, because those that are will all wish they were not!

One thing that I've had a hard time picturing regarding the Revised Roman Empire idea (which I do agree with) is that those who refuse to take the Mark and worship the Beast will be beheaded. European countries at the current time abhor capitol punishment and think the US are barbarians for still carrying on the practice.

Now take a look around and see if you can figure out what group not alone condones capitol punishment, but beheads people (i.e. infidels) with great zeal?

The way I understand it, the Koran was written by a Jewish scholar, and a Catholic priest. I have heard a number of times. The last was from Grant Jeffries and Perry Stone. What I found interesting was they encrypted messages in it. Never heard what the messages were. The writers were supposedly excuted after writing it.

I was thinking about the statue that king Nebcudnezzar saw in his dream. Specfically, the feet and toes of iron and clay.

Dan 2:41 And as you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom, but some of the firmness of iron shall be in it, just as you saw iron mixed with the soft clay.
Dan 2:42 And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle.
Dan 2:43 As you saw the iron mixed with soft clay, so they will mix with one another in marriage, but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay.
Dan 2:44 And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever,

Then I thought about the verses in Dan CH 9... Dan 9:27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator."

I was wondering how the AC will be able to confirm the covenant (KJV) legally. Then I was reading the news on the RR website and saw the article on the UfM. I had once compaired a map of the ancient Roman empire with a map with the EU and the UfM together and they completely rebuild the Roman empire. So, this is how the AC will have the authority to enforce this treaty as Israel is part of the UfM. The UfM has representation in the EU, and the EU has some controlling authority and representation over in the UfM. This will be the fulfilllment of Dan CH 2:41-44.

The AC will subdue three kings. Could this be three of the nations that are currently in deep finincial trouble in the EU/UfM that he will subdue??

If you look at the world in the current political, economic, agricultural, military, and health situation and compare it to the first four seals that are opened in Rev, 6:1-8 and you will see the world being set up to fulfill the history written in advance by God, the author of Truth, otherwise known as prophesy.

Its a mistake to expect the future Antichrist to subdue three kings. That uprooting of three of the ten horns was fulfilled by Antiochus IV Epiphanes (the prototype antichrist). There is no uprooting of horns mentioned in Revelation.

The statue that Daniel explains to the king documents empires that come down to the Roman.

Please note that the statue has TWO legs as did the Roman empire. The eastern leg outlasted the western leg by 1,000 years.

It was head-quartered in Istanbul, TURKEY. Please don't dismiss what is happening now between the two countries. The anti-christ is often referred to as the Assyrian. This kingdom covered a lot if not all of what is now Turkey.

All the letters to the churches in Revelation were located in what is now Turkey.

The Timing of The Mahdi’s Reign

While there is more than one tradition regarding the nature and timing of the Mahdi’s ascendancy to power, there is one particular hadith that places this event at the time of a final peace agreement between the Arabs and the Romans (“Romans” should be interpreted as referring to Christians, or more generally, the West). Although this peace agreement is made with the “Romans”, it is said to be mediated specifically through a Jew from the priestly lineage of Aaron. The peace agreement will be made for a period of seven years.

Rasulullah [Muhammad] said: “There will be four peace agreements between you and the Romans [Christians]. The fourth agreement will be mediated through a person who will be from the progeny of Hadrat Haroon [Honorable Aaron – Moses’ brother] and will be upheld for seven years. (Emphasis mine) 28

It appears that the period of this seven year peace agreement will likewise be the period of the Mahdi’s reign. While there are a few traditions that specify that the Mahdi will reign on the earth for as much as eight or possibly even nine years, most traditions state that the time of his reign will be seven years.

The Prophet said… He will divide the property, and will govern the people by the Sunnah of their Prophet and establish Islam on Earth. He will remain seven years, then die, and the Muslims will pray over him. (Emphasis mine) 29

So I was watching the Bible series at the house of a friend who had a lot of questions about things she was seeing in the miniseries. They showed a brief clip of the Macabees revolt with the abomination in the temple which they protrayed as an eagle. She freaks out and says, "oh, that's the American Eagle, it looks exactly like our eagle!! It's roman, too?? I got to thinking and then to researching the web. It turns out that the eagle was a very prevalent sign of the Roman army. There were in the beginning of the empire four other symbols, but they phased out in favor of the eagle being the sole symbol. These ancient eagles are sometimes similiar to our bald eagle. So being that we have the eagle as our icon, and seeing God's tendency to use animals to describe nations and kingdoms in the Bible (i.e. Daniel and Revelation), could WE be the revived Roman Empire? Or part of it? Just wondering.

Europe is a socialist nation. America is becoming more socialist by the day. Europe embraces homosexuality, I believe we are about to legalize gay marriage. America's mother, if you will, is a European nation, England. Like Ancient Rome, we have a senate. Their are a number of similarities between America and Rome, which once ruled in parts of Europe and the Middle East. Yes, I believe America is very likely part of the revived Roman Empire.

The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.


I think this passage from Daniel may be talking about the USA. As I noted before, our mother country is England whom we broke away from. Just as our symbol is the eagle, England's symbol is the lion. Daniel speaks of a lion with the wings of an eagle. The wings were plucked and the image becomes one of a man at that point. America has another symbol besides the eagle, that of a man...Uncle Sam. I find this passage intriguing.

Interesting. I don't know why this just dawned on me this week. Now, I'm not implying anything about anybody, but if this is the case, then it would not be impossible for the antichrist to come from the United States, since it is likely part of the revived Roman Empire.
