What an awesome post... and just in time for me. DH and I are both blood-covered born again Christians. We just cannot seem to see one anothers perspectives on this though. He has the gift of administration (he's the treasurer). I have suddenly become a watcher. It's like God has given me new eyes. My enthusiasm and concerns regarding all this doesn't faze my husband a bit. He thinks my eyes should be on other things. It's like being the only person on the sinking ship who sees what is happening. He thinks it all negative. *I* think it's all positive because Jesus is coming soon... but in the meantime, there is a lot harsh stuff to deal with; war, preparation, milque-toast churches. I am overwhelmed by all of it and just want to talk to someone who sees what I see! I'm very frustrated right now.
1 Thessalonians 5:4 (New International Version)
4But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.
