my user name has a little bit of a story lol so my mom's friend was dying from cancer and my mom told me about him and i said "well he should be happy cuz he's going to heaven to party with Jesus!" so within the next couple of days he came to my mom's work and she told him what i said and he laughed and said "yes i am!" and i used it for my youtube name before he passed away...so i guess it's like a memorial to him now because now he's gettin down in the party of eternity!

My member name is a combination of my childhood nickname and my birthdate. I read a lot and my mom called me bookie. My birthday is 11/29 and when I got my first e-mail account I was 29 years old.

I thought I would clear that up. I didn't want everyone to think I was running a gambling parlor.

Mine is not so inspiring, but it was derived from my initials MEL and the numbers that the computer at Louisiana Tech University generated for my student e-mail account.

So many different online accounts now (RR, bills, e-mail, work, banking, etc) that I have tried really hard to stick with the same user ID and PW for all of them.

I have often wished that I would have come up with something better for this very special site!

I've always loved to listen to the old folk's stories and advice and wisdom.
My life has been changed many times as I sat at the feet of the old and wise.
One such hero was a baptist preacher from New Hebron MS who was also a retired sportscaster.
That man could tell a story!
He once related about how ancient Israel passed their culture, history, and scripture from one generation to the next. At family gatherings, and Holy Days the "graybeards" would gather the children and dispense their history through the great stories from the WORD.
I didn't chose my user name because I am a graybeard, but because they changed my life, and someday I would like to be one too. I carry their words with me everyday, and hope to be found worthy of them someday.
