Default Unable to View Embedded Videos

Would someone know what setting I need to change in either IE6 or on my computer so I can view embedded videos? All the sudden, one day, I just couldn't do it anymore. I don't even get a picture, just a big empty space where the embedded video should be and a little picture icon in the upper left-hand corner of the empty space. Any suggestions?

Here's how to enable these media functions in your browser:

    1. Open IE
    2. Click Tools menu
    3. Click Internet Options
    4. Check Play animations in web pages
    5. Check Play sounds in web pages
    6. Check Play videos in web pages
    7. Click OK

Another thing you could check...make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=DXLUJ

OK...my settings were already correct and I downloaded the newest Adobe Flash player and still nothing. Is there something else I can try?

Use firefox. IE6 is a trojan as far as I am concerned.

In the past, when I tried to print coupons from Firefox, I was unsuccessful and a little miffed, so I deleted the program. However, since I don't know what's going on with not being able to view embedded videos in IE6, I went ahead and reinstalled Firefox. The video files now appear, and I guess I'll use Firefox for when I'm here on RR, and IE6 for other things.

I do have to keep IE6, as many of the applications I use in my business are programmed specifically to work with IE6, and I'm OK with having two browsers.

Thanks for the suggestions, I really appreciate everyone's input.
