I don't mean to be rude, friend, but you might take that as a hint that a game which glorifies so-called "magic" instead of the miracles of God is not an appropriate subject for a conservative Christian discussion board.

I finished the main questline a while back. Huge game...

I could never get into Oblivion. I mean, it looks awesome (the forests are breathtaking), but I could just never get into it. Maybe because if I play an RPG it has to be of the MMO kind; I don't know.
Actually, I just uninstalled it to free up some hard drive space because I never play it.

I was a big fan of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion back in the day (Roughly between 2005 and 2007, after which I didn't play it as much). I actually didn't complete the main mission/quest series until this year though, in spring break. I never liked the magic type of characters, so I was basically a pure-warrior wielding swords, bows, and sometimes axes. I think the last time I played this though, was when I actually completed the main series of quests... it's a good game even by today's standards, four or five years later, you know. The graphics are still good, but back when it first came out, I would go as far as to say they were excellent.

I've been debating on quitting these type of games altogether, but I like them and know it's pure make believe. I really wish a company would put out good christian games out. There's nothing on consoles and just a few games for PC. |

I didn't like Oblivion either even though I think it is a good game. I didn't like the magic system, thought it was too simplistic. The combat system with weapons was pretty realistic though. Really though even after ten years no game has come close to Everquest in terms of sheer depth.
