Default Christians that have passed on.

Do you guys think that our loved ones that have passed on are able to see how close the Lord is to coming to get us. Perhaps they could see the angelic realm getting organized for our departure.. hmmm.. just a thought, i know there isn't any biblical reference to what they can see in haven related to this question, but just wondering out loud. I just can't stop thinking about the rapture..

It's a good question and as you state, we can only speculate. I'd lean to the answer of no and here's why. They would see us suffering. They would see the world around us crumbling and the fear that comes with it. They would see some love ones begin to doubt and fall away while others get stronger and move closer to the Lord. Assuming they retained some form of human emotion, I think it would be agonizing to watch that and not something our Lord would want to put his children through.

I honestly think it would be worse to watch, knowing what you now knew in Heaven, than it is to be ignorant here on Earth and doing your best to live your life while keeping your eyes open for Him. Just a thought.

See if this helps.... http://www.epm.org/artman2/publish/E...on_Earth.shtml

I believe they are looking forward to the rapture and getting their bodies back. Probably even more than we are.
