Default KEURIG COFFEE MAKER -Great Gift Idea!!

I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and purchased myself a little Keurig Coffee Maker. It's one of those little gadgets where you put in your coffee "pod" or tea/cocoa pod and it brews just one cup at a time. Thought I'd give a review for those that have coffee lovers on their Christmas lists!!!

I saw it last year and thought it was stupid to brew a cup at a time but often realized I toss out coffee that is left in the pot every single day. You get a lot of those pods and it costs about the same when you divy up what you REALLY drink. 2 cups a day. Plus, one can have decaf, the next cup hazelnut, the next tea. It only takes SECONDS to brew a cup of steaming fresh coffee....

So I've had it for one day and LOVE IT.
#1 it looks really cool!
#2, it's fun to try a new one each day when you buy the variety packs!
#3, If you have a huge party, I bring out hte big party size perculator any way!!
#4- how many times does a friend come over and when I ask they say, oh no, thank you if I don't have a pot on??? This way, it's one cup per person! Fresh and easy!
#5 If you buy it at BBB and use your coupons it's a great deal! Plus, you can buy boxes of coffee at 20% off each time too!! Savings!
#6 I also bought this little spinning carasoel to hold the pods that looks so cute on my counter. It's like a little cafe in here!!

That's so expensive! To me it is anyway. I love the idea of brewing one cup at a time, is there one that is less expensive but still decent?

How much the does the coupon take off? Getting my calculator....

There are some that are less. around 20 bucks.... I had one that used tea bag like pods. IT was nice but for some reason my coffee had this funky flavor to it...

But this is so nice. The cleanup is easy. And the variety is amazing

Yes, I've read that the cheaper versions are not worth it. Yes I guess it's expensive. I had purchased the Cuisinart Potless coffee maker but it leaked and Bed Bath and Beyond graciously told me I could get my FULL money back or use the credit towards another one. I then saw this Keurig and using the coupon it only cost me 20.00.

The total price was about 139.00 for the pot at BBB??? I think it's on sale. The newer model is 160-199.00

I have the Phillip's Senseo. Does much the same thing and costs a lot less.Costco has them in right now for $69 and that is a combo pack with 188 pods of assorted coffees. Also there is an internet deal where you answer a survey and they send you one for $15. I'll look for the link l;ater but I need to leave now.

Is the Senseo equal to the expensive one? Just curious. I do know some people really like the Senseo.

I used to work for Keurig, and after my training I purchased a brewer. I was so impressed with it, I had to have one. I love it, but as I do not drink coffee, I mainly use it during the fall/winter for hot chocolate and tea. Probably one of the best buys I have ever made, even though I do not use it that often. It's also awesome for those cupped soups that require hot water (like Ramen). It keeps hot water in the machine at all times (when it's on) so it's quick!

And ohhh, the Ghirardelli hot chocolate packets you can buy for it are so yummy! They sell them at Bed Bath and Beyond. If you haven't tried it yet, you should!

HA HA HA....then this is NOT for you. It would be too costly!!!

I have about 3 actually. So it's not a big hit. Plus you can get them at costco.

If you buy the Senseo make sure you can RETURN IT if you don't like it. That's why I like Bed Bath and Beyond. They take back anything!!!

I do love it's sleek look and yummy coffee!!!

What I like best????

I DON"T HAVE TO CLEAN THE DARN COFFEE POT EVER AGAIN!!!!

Everyone still loving their keurig coffee maker? I **might** actually get one for Christmas!! Before I do, is there anything negative about it.? I have been looking reviews up like crazy, comparing this to the Tassimo brew thingamajig.

One question I have is, do you think it's healthy/safe to brew your coffee right inside those little Kcups? I'm referring to the plastic. Is it healthy and safe to brew hot coffee in those little plastic things? Plastic is not known for being very safe when heated up.

The water doesn't really stay in the cup. It just passes through it.

And like Coffee is healthy for us

Actually I think coffee is healthy. Or at least has some healthy benefits.. http://men.webmd.com/features/coffee-new-health-food

It's what goes in it that isn't always so good for us.
